Releasing a tool based on one of these bugs now for iOS 9.1 users or 9.2 would be shortsighted given that iOs 9.2.1 is already in beta form. There are a number of 0day exploits out there that are highly valuable and allow the jailbreaking teams to do their stuff as well as provide a basis for future jailbreaks. The final was updated as an untethered and as a stable tool. Anyhow, even the Pangu 9 were able to jailbreak all devices of iOS 9, Pangu 1.3.1 and 1.1.1 cannot do so and has removed iPod touch and some others too. That seems a little unfair, but there's a very good reason for it. The recent tool was released including iOS 9.1 jailbreak as well neglecting iOS 9.2 and the ability we need to have here as iOS 9.2.1. In fact, the final release may not even use the same exploits. However, Todesco also pointed out that while he had a jailbreak working on the current iOS beta - 9.2.1, he would not be releasing the tool. This tool actually on it's developing stage but developer team plans to released this beta version for the public and the collect errors from it's users.

However, this suggests that we might not just be in line for a tool for iOS 9.2.1 when it's released publically, but that one team may release an additional tool in the meantime for older firmware's too - perhaps iOS 9.1 or even iOS 9.2 using existing bugs that Apple hasn't patched. As such, Todesco is correct in saying that anyone currently jailbroken on an early version of iOS 9 should not update to iOS 9.2 or 9.2.1 when it's released to get the latest features and enhancements from Apple in the hope that a new jailbreak tool is around the corner.
